Software Engineer Intern – Summer 2025 (Java | .NET | AI)

This position would be ideal for a Computer Science student seeking an internship in Cluj.

About the role

As a Software Engineer Intern, you will join one of our teams, which is accountable for developing new features in business web applications. You may also participate in research activities or collaborate on actual projects improving product features.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Develop, test, and maintain software applications in Java, .NET, or AI-related technologies.
  • Collaborate with experienced engineers on feature development and system improvements.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices for software development.
  • Conduct research on emerging technologies and assist in prototyping innovative solutions.
  • Identify and fix software bugs to enhance application performance and stability.
  • Get hands-on with data engineering and machine learning using AWS native tooling like AWS Glue, AWS Sagemaker and Python.

What You Need for this Position

  • To study in a relevant field like Computer Science; preferably with no more than 2 semesters until graduation.
  • To be passionate about new technologies and their future potential.
  • To be enthusiastic, self-motivated, and curious by nature.
  • To be a great problem solver, capable of working both independently and in a team.
  • To have proficiency in English.
  • Knowledge about software security principles and/or fronted technologies is a plus.

  • Location: Cluj-Napoca
  • 6-8 weeks, full time, hybrid (80% on site and 20% online) internship program
