IT Support Associate

Overview

We are seeking a versatile and motivated IT professional eager to develop their skills in IT Support. This role is perfect for a final-year student or recent graduate with a technical background, offering the flexibility of a part-time schedule (4-6 hours/day). You’ll gain hands-on experience in technical support and troubleshooting for our IT department.

The ideal candidate will be proactive, adaptable, and organized, with strong problem-solving abilities and excellent communication skills in both Romanian and English. Responsibilities

  • Implement and maintain security and networking tools across employee devices.
  • Assist with network device setup and configuration.
  • Manage IT inventory, acquisitions, and servicing.
  • Provide technical support for hardware and software issues, escalating as needed internally or with the vendors.
  • Guide employees in using IT equipment during on-boarding and off-boarding.
  • Ensure hardware and software needs are met in the company.
  • Review and update system use guidelines.
  • Conduct routine security checks on systems.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders including LT, project leads, and HR.

Qualifications

  • Final year student or recent graduate from a technical faculty.
  • Genuine interest and passion for technology.
  • Previous internship or project experience in development, QA automation or IT support is a plus.
  • Any relevant ITIL certifications are a plus.

Knowledge, skills, and competencies.

  • Proficiency in macOS primarily and Windows.
  • Basic understanding of hardware components and maintenance tools.
  • Basic networking knowledge and understanding of basic networking infrastructure.
  • Basic shell scripting knowledge.
  • Reliable with professionalism and strong work ethic.
  • Highly organized with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Romanian and English.
  • Independent and motivated to complete tasks.
  • Use logic and reasoning to identify alternate solutions.
  • Adaptable to change and results/detail-oriented.
  • Able to be flexible with the schedule to accommodate workflow demands.
  • Open to learning and adapting to new tools and technologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Additional Information

  • Application deadline: 05.12.2024.
  • Part-time working contract (4-6h/day).
  • Starting date: January-February 2025.
  • For this role, working in the office is expected, with remote work considered an exception.
